A BHO trojan is a stealthy mischievous program that embeds itself into Internet Explorer as a Browser Helper Object to monitor your surfing activity on the compromised computer. A BHO trojan may change DNS settings and hijack your home page, search page and add unknown favorites and toolbars to the browser. A Browser Helper Object trojan may also alter registry values and overrun the computer screen with unsolicited popup advertisements. | |
