Description:
A BHO trojan is a stealthy harmful tool that embeds itself into Internet Explorer as a Browser Helper Object to monitor your surfing activity on the compromised computer. A BHO trojan may alter DNS settings and hijack your homepage, search page and add unknown favorites and toolbars to the browser. A Browser Helper Object trojan may also modify registry values and overwhelm the computer screen with unwanted pop up advertisements.
